Homeschool Corral

Terms of Use

Last updated 2 October 2026

In plain words. Everything here is free, in beta, and offered in good faith for anyone who finds it useful. We have tried hard to make the courses and tools accurate and well built, but they come as they are. Use them, enjoy them, and please do not copy them wholesale or use them to cause harm.

1. Agreement

By using homeschoolcorral.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If a child in your care uses our courses, you agree to these terms on their behalf. “We” and “us” mean the people who run Homeschool Corral.

2. What we provide

Homeschool Corral offers free educational courses, the Worksheet Maker, Homeschool Transcripts and the Scholarship Finder. Everything is offered at no charge during the beta. The courses and the Worksheet Maker need no account; Homeschool Transcripts needs a free account, and the Scholarship Finder needs a free account to see how to apply. We may add, change, or remove anything on the site at any time, and because this is a beta you should expect changes.

3. Educational content is not professional instruction

Our courses were built for our own children and are shared in the hope they help yours. They are a supplement, not a curriculum. They are not accredited, they do not meet any particular state’s requirements on their own, and they are not a substitute for a teacher, a tutor, or professional educational or developmental advice. We make no promise about learning outcomes. You remain responsible for your children’s education.

We have taken care with correctness: the mathematics is machine-verified and the scripture and catechism texts are quoted from published sources. But we cannot guarantee that every question, answer or explanation is free from error. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not:

Reading, learning, and sharing links with other families is exactly what this is for, and is always welcome. Teachers, co-ops and homeschool groups are welcome to use the courses with their students.

5. Ownership

The design, text, artwork, code and course content on this site are © 2026 Homeschool Corral, except where noted below. All rights reserved.

Scripture quotations in Keys of the Kingdom are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), copyright © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission. All rights reserved. The ESV text remains the property of its copyright holder and is not covered by our own rights above. The Reina-Valera 1909 and King James Version texts are in the public domain; the Westminster Shorter Catechism and the Children’s Catechism are reproduced from their published sources as credited in each course.

6. Your device and your data

Our courses save progress in your own browser’s storage. We cannot see it, restore it, or transfer it between devices. Clearing your browser data will erase it, and we cannot recover it for you. Please treat saved progress as something that lives on that one device.

How information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

6a. The Scholarship Finder

The Scholarship Finder is a free directory built from public records and sponsors’ official websites. We work hard to keep it accurate, but scholarship sponsors set and change their own rules, amounts and deadlines, and a listing can be out of date or wrong. Always confirm the details on the sponsor’s own site before you apply or rely on a deadline. Legitimate scholarships don’t charge you to apply or to receive an award; be wary of any that do. We never charge for the Finder. A match in the Finder is not a promise that you are eligible or that you will receive anything. We are not affiliated with the sponsors listed, we don’t decide who wins, and we don’t take applications. Aid-planner figures are estimates, not financial advice; your college’s financial aid office has the final numbers.

Accounts. Accounts are free. Anyone can search the Finder; a free account is needed to see application links and contact details. You must be 13 or older to create a student account; a parent or guardian may create a family account for their own children, including those under 13. Please use an email address that is yours, and create an account only for yourself or for children in your care. Keep your email account secure, since anyone who can read it can use your sign-in codes and links. Questions asked at sign-up other than your email are optional, and please don’t enter a child’s real name in the Finder (Homeschool Transcripts, below, is the one place a student’s name belongs). We will email you only sign-in codes, deadline reminders if you leave them on, and a monthly list of new matches if you turn it on. If you share a winner’s story, you let us publish it on this site without names, and we will take it down whenever you ask. If you send us a scholarship or an update as its sponsor, you confirm you’re allowed to and that the details are accurate; we decide what to list and may shorten or clarify the wording. Listing is free, and we never sell placement or ranking. You may delete your account at any time, and we may close accounts that are misused. If we ever offer optional paid features, nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

6b. Homeschool Transcripts

Homeschool Transcripts is a free tool (during the beta) for a parent or guardian to keep their own homeschool’s records and print or share documents. You must be 18 or older and the parent or guardian of the students you add. You are the school’s administrator and you issue the documents: you are responsible for making sure every grade, credit, date and statement is true, and for following your state’s homeschool laws. Homeschool Corral does not accredit schools, review grades or certify records. The state requirements we show summarize each state’s official sources as of the date shown; they are general information, not legal advice, and may be incomplete or out of date. Check your state’s official sources and, if in doubt, your state or local school district. Tracking tools (attendance, subject and checklist items) help you keep records; they do not file anything with your state or confirm that you are in compliance. The QR code and share links show the record as it is kept in your account; they confirm that a document matches your current record, not that the record is accurate or that your school is accredited. Don’t use the tool to make records that are false or misleading, or to claim an accreditation or status your school doesn’t have. You keep the rights to what you enter and upload (including your logo, which you must have the right to use), and you let us store and display it to you and to the people you share it with. Colleges and other recipients decide for themselves what they accept. If we ever offer paid features, we will tell you first and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

7. Availability

We make no promise that this site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. It is a beta run at our own expense, and we may take it down, move it, or change it without notice. If the beta ends or a tool is retired, we will do our best to give notice and a way to download your records first.

8. Links to other sites

We link to outside pages, such as thousands of scholarship sponsors’ websites in the Scholarship Finder and state education sources in Homeschool Transcripts. Those sites are run by others, and we are not responsible for their content, their practices or their decisions.

9. No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homeschool Corral and the people who run it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site. Because the site is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to zero dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about anything else on the site, can be sent to help@homeschoolcorral.com.
